Tanya Natdhipytadd from the anime Battle Atheletes Victory. She was born on May 5, 4984, in Africa. She is fourteen years old and enjoys hunting and fortune-telling; her personality is described as willful.
Tetra from the videogame The Wind Waker. Tetra is a young female pirate who, in The Wind Waker and The Phantom Hourglass, causes Link to start his journey. Her mother died a few years before the events of The Wind Waker, and she was left to lead the group of pirates. She is the one whom Ganondorf intended the Helmaroc King to kidnap, instead of Aryll. Initially, she does not like Link, unimpressed by his sadness owing to the kidnapping. Later, however, she notices Link wielding the Master Sword as he advances to slay the Helmaroc King.
Teyla Emmagan from the sci-fi Stargate Atlantis. Teyla Emmagan is the leader of the Athosians, a human race of farmers, hunters, and traders from the planet Athos in the Pegasus Galaxy. She is the daughter of Tagan. The Athosians are the first natives of Pegasus whom the Atlantis Expedition encounters on their scouting of potential evacuation sites in "Rising". After a Wraith attack on Athos, Teyla and the Athosians settle in Atlantis. Friction in "Suspicion" causes the Athosians to leave Atlantis and settle on the mainland. Teyla stays with Sheppard's team, but later helps with evacuating the Athosians from the mainland several times in the face of various threats.
Triela from the anime Gunslinger Girls. The second prototype of the girl assassins (Angelica being the first), Triela's past is even more tragic than the others. A victim of a child smuggling ring in Amsterdam, the girl suffered from a number of rapes, tortures, and mutilations. When she was rescued by her future fratello (meaning sibling in Italian, though here it's used to mean "handler") Hilshire, she was nearly at death's door. After Hilshire was fired from Europol, he was picked up by Italy's Social Welfare Agency, where he became the girl's handler and gave her the name Triela. She lives in a room with Claes, a former assassin, now a test subject on the cybernetics process.
